God not only called us to build community, but to serve it with love; and throughout the years, we have walked alongside those we cherish, building hope through every project.
Our Projects
Our Indigenous Community
Since 2002, we have walked alongside the Cabécar indigenous community of Turrialba, serving and supporting projects that strengthen education, infrastructure, and community life. Although the pandemic paused our visits, the bond and commitment remain alive.
Children’s Center
In the community of Tuis, we support a childcare center that cares for the children of mothers who study or work. It is a vital project for the community’s development, managed by the Tuis Development Association, and La Misión has supported it since its beginnings through donations, service, and volunteers.
Our New Playground
Since 2025, God placed in the hearts of several members of our community the desire to build a new playground for the children of Tuis. Our vision is to create a safe and special place where children can play and families can gather together. We are currently exploring options and raising funds to bring this project to life.
Local Ministry
Since 2002, La Misión has built a Christian community in Tuis focused on serving, supporting, and sharing the love of Christ. Through gatherings, ministries, and different projects for children, youth, and families, we have sought to bless and reach more people with hope and community.
Microloan Program
Since 2004, alongside the Liberman family, we have supported a microloan program designed to help small community businesses and entrepreneurs grow. After years of successful stories, in 2025 we renewed this vision by inspiring new dreams and preparing a new season of support for local entrepreneurs.
Writing Worship Music
Music has always been an essential part of La Misión: an expression of worship, hope, and unity. Through Christian music, we seek to bring hearts closer to God, inspire people, and share messages that transform lives. Creating original music with purpose has been part of our essence since the very beginning.
