On Sunday May 31st, the VQC Mission held its first ‘Cabalgata’ / Horse Show! The purpose of the event was to raise funds for the Children’s center building. Locals from the community did a horse show by passing through the town and mountains. When they returned to the Mission, lunch was served at the various food booths. People were able to buy rice and beans and typical Costa Rican food. After the meals, there were prizes drawn for the participants.

The Mission congregation donated the gifts. At the end of the day was the exciting Bingo game! Many people participated and won prizes as well. The day was full of family fun and a great community outreach.
