This wonderful group from Santa Rosa impacted the Mission in a profound way this last
summer.
During their two weeks, the group divided up to do their various tasks. Some even took Spanish classes at CISA.
They led 2 seminars, which were held simultaneously, with the Women of God taking place in the main building and the Parenting class in a classroom. The women from the community had never taken part in seminars of such professionalism and care before. The women were able to participate while their children were outside with others from the group leading great games and activities.
They kindly brought great fabric and a design to do a new banner to hang up on the church wall. Ladies from the community who enjoy sewing participated with the preparation and layout of the design.
The men from the group eagerly helped with the ongoing construction of the children’s building. They worked along side our local staff.
The women’s leadership team was blessed by the 2 day teaching series led by Dr. Catherine Barnard and Peggy Dyslin. They discussed with the group the Myers Briggs personality test that had completed and connected the results with church leadership.
We hope to have the Santa Rosa team return again soon!
