Visiting
If God has put the desire of coming to serve on your heart, we are very open to working with you.
We believe that the most important part is simply for someone to make themselves available, and God will do all the rest.
Come for a week, a month, a year. Come alone or as a family. We have found that visitors enrich us. Some come just to worship with us, some to build and share things, some just to visit.
You are welcome to come and see us anytime.
Do I need to be special?
Yes and no.
You must come with a heart that is willing to serve, to share what God has given you, and to have a teachable spirit.
To open yourself up to God to do his good work in you and through you. If you are not in a relationship with Jesus Christ, you are still welcome as long as you come with a teachable spirit.
Where would I live?
Most volunteers choose to have a home stay where you get to live with a family in an immersion situation.
The cost of this will vary but is generally quite inexpensive at about $15 per person per day and includes all of your meals. (price quoted are in US dollars).
For longer term stays, and specially for families we have the option to rent your own house as accommodation.
The cost of this is usually between $100 and $200 per month. With this type of arrangement you would normally have to equip and furnish your place.
What would I do?
Volunteers and visitors become involved in the different activities of the mission according to their call, skills and personalities. The schedules are full time or part time.
Prior your visit, visitors send their own information about what they would be able to do, and then, first day in Costa Rica, volunteers have an interview with our directors for organizing the details.
